This comprehensive design and build project transformed an existing family home into a bright, contemporary living environment designed around modern lifestyles. The brief focused on enhancing the property’s functionality, improving the flow between living spaces, and maximising natural light throughout.

A key element of the project was the conversion of the existing garage into fully habitable accommodation, seamlessly integrated with the rest of the ground floor. The former garage door opening was replaced with a new feature window, introducing abundant natural daylight while maintaining the property’s attractive external appearance. To ensure continuity throughout the living areas, the garage floor was carefully excavated and lowered to match the levels of the adjoining kitchen and dining spaces, creating a smooth, level transition and a cohesive open-plan layout.

Internally, the property underwent an extensive refurbishment, including reconfigured living spaces, upgraded finishes, bespoke joinery, and modern lighting installations. The redesigned layout provides improved circulation and flexibility, creating a more practical and enjoyable environment for everyday family life.

High-quality materials and carefully selected finishes were used throughout to achieve a clean, timeless aesthetic. Large glazed openings strengthen the connection between the interior and garden, while a neutral palette, contemporary detailing, and layered lighting contribute to a bright and welcoming atmosphere.
